In this issue the Beyonder is attacked in space and he defeats his attacker and wipes their entire planet out of existence. We learn that Mephisto is pissed because he will not be able to collect those souls and thinks about killing the Beyonder. Knowing these thoughts the Beyonder immediately confront Mephisto. They place a wage to save the entire multiverse if Spider-Man wins his battle with Zarathos. At the end of the issue Spider-Man wins and the multiverse gets a 24 hour reprieve from the Beyonder.
Also, in this comic Spider-Man saves the Kingpin from getting assasinated by a sniper.
