Description: Hardcover. "The Judgment of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg" by John Wexley.. Mildred Olmsted held leadership positions in the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom as well as the Pennsylvania chapter of the ACLU, which her husband, Judge Allen Seymour Olmsted, helped found. Helen Levitov Sobell petitioned, but was unable to save, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg from execution for espionage. Helen and her husband Morton Sobell were also accused of espionage, though Helen was never prosecuted. Her husband Morton was convicted and sentenced to thirty years.
