Locate the Learn button on the receiver box, which is usually in the control cavity of the fireplace.
Use a thin object, like a pencil or toothpick, to quickly press and release the Learn button. You should hear a beep, indicating the receiver is ready to receive a signal from the remote.
Immediately after the beep, press the On or Mode button on the remote. If the remote has both buttons, press On. You should hear another beep, and the fireplace should turn on, indicating that the remote is synced
