Gift Keywords: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly
Gift keywords can be like hitting the lottery and whilst you should explore and test it would be silly to bank on this without a clear path laid with core keywords. I know of brands that were able to do well with this in the kids category and had a real knack of finding the right gift keywords to their products and had a strong hit rate. I have also seen sellers try to pivot to gift keywords as they used broadly related keywords in a niche whereby their product(s) fall between the stools.
