  • Michael Hartman worked with Seller Support for a long time on and off.
  • Brand registry gets things done much faster and easier in fixing bad actors trying to screw with their brand.
  • They have been opening tickets and create records of the solution.

Getting things done

  • After opening a case, create records even in the absence of the solutions.
  • You can escalate your tickets within the 12 hour period.
  • While waiting for the solution, make sure to get daily downloads of all your products ex: category listing report to track changes on your node. This records the changes happening.
  • Amazon will also be able to check the data.
  • There are 74 hours for them to get this solved.
    • It also tracks record of how many times this things have happened.
    • With this record, Michael and his team were able to ask for a temporary lock on the node where their category is.
  • If you keep having a certain problem with Amazon– keep a record of those previous cases that got resolved.
    • This way you get some sort of card-stacking.
    • This way Amazon support gets to know how to solve it quickly and the way you want it done.

How hackers change your node

  • When other people add contributions to your account.
  • They are sticking bad keywords to your listings and bring your product down.
  • They usually do it on a Friday so your listing is down on the weekends.

To Do

  • Make sure to send an email to Seller Central and activate your category listing support.
  • You should download that.
  • Make sure to have ALL your boxes filed up, get that flat file from seller central and fill ALL of it up, do not leave any spaces for contribution from hackers.
  • Example, when you have brand registry, and you are on supplements space —
    • Upload your file every 50 minutes to over ride anyone! You then counteract any hacker. You create a wall of defense.
    • Make retail contributions to your listings with one or two character difference.
      • This adds another layer of defense.
  • Work on OFFENSE and DEFENSE of your business.
